New cutting-edge solutions to guarantee maximum efficiency and quality in the production of packaging for fruit and vegetables will be on display at Rimini Fiera (8-10 May 2024).
SACMI Packaging & Chocolate will be at the 2024 edition of Macfrut, the trade fair for the fruit and vegetable world which will be held in Rimini from 8 to 10 May (Hall D1 Booth 155), presenting a complete range of box/tray forming systems and horizontal and vertical packaging machines.
An absolute novelty of this edition is the new release of the already established TF 40 Imola, the platform and tray former with reinforced corners, with an operating capacity of up to 40 pcs/min.
The new version includes electronic management of the corner forming area: through the use of brushless motors, the forming of the reinforced corners is done electronically and allows for automatic adjustment.
In this way, both the performance of the machine and the precision in forming are increased. Furthermore, the format changeover is even quicker as there is no need to use tools.
Another proposal in the Tray Forming field present at the fair, the TF 22 Top Seal, a forming machine suitable for creating protective and tamper-proof packages for different products and with different materials, such as laminates and compact cardboard.
Equipped with a double head, it can handle two different formats simultaneously and allows a very quick and precise format changeover, managing both corrugated and compact cardboard without the need for modifications or dedicated adjustments. Ideal for frequent changeovers, even daily.
TF22 TS can also manage a perimeter edge of just 10 mm, reducing the size of the edge to a minimum in relation to the maximum development of the workable blank (up to a perimeter of 700x500 mm, thus allowing the forming of trays of large dimensions and various geometries).
To complete the offer, one of the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate solutions for primary packaging, the HPS20 horizontal flowpack packaging machine. Thanks to the totally electronic control, the machine allows the reduction and optimization of operating and maintenance costs.
Through the integration of the automatic feeding system of the Smart Feeder in-line trays, operating speeds of up to 20 linear meters of advancement of the wrapping materials can be achieved.
