SACMI will play a pivotal role at the seventeenth edition of Expo Revestir, South America's biggest international ceramic industry event. The fair will be held in Sao Paolo do Brasil from 12 to 15 March 2019. The over 40,000 m2 of the Transamerica Expo Center will host at least 250 international brands.
This four-day event will have a dual focus, offering two different yet closely interlinked perspectives: the first two days, called “Business Days - negotiations and networks”, will look at business interactions between final customers, ceramic manufacturers and machine makers/technology developers. The final two “Creative Days – trends and content”, instead, will illustrate the latest available technologies, changing market trends and new approaches to design within the ceramic sector.
The SACMI stand (n. 2170B - Hall C) will be located within the collective ACIMAC (Association of Italian Ceramic Machine and Equipment Constructors) exhibition area, which brings together all the very best ‘Made in Italy’ ceramic technology. Here, SACMI will be presenting large slab technology solutions, from the Continua+ line to the Deep Digital line, which introduces integrated digital management of all glazing, decoration, grain/flake/other material application stages to give slab surfaces unmatched on-slab tactile and depth effects. A collection of finished products will be on show to illustrate the innumerable decoration opportunities offered by this latest-generation line in terms of colour development; they will also highlight how glaze can be combined with inkjet, oil base with water base, liquid with solid, etc.
SACMI will also be making the most of what is South America's biggest ceramic fair to present its full range of solutions for the industry, like, for example, the new integrated-automation SMART presses (already a success, with several PH8200 units purchased in Brazil in recent months).
The Sao Paolo event is also the perfect showcase for SACMI's technological leadership in ceramic sanitaryware. Consequently, the Group will be showing the Brazilian market its extremely innovative pressure casting and robotized glazing solutions, applicable with all article types, including the most complex. Shared features on all solutions include outstanding automation and consistently high finished product quality, not to mention reduced consumption and lower maintenance requirements.
Note also that SACMI do Brasil has just celebrated its 50th anniversary: a true production facility just a stone's throw from Sao Paolo, it's long been the technical assistance and spare parts hub for the entire Brazilian market and a symbol of the Group's well-organised, far-reaching presence in South America.
On the Service side, Revestir also presents a great opportunity to bring SACMI and its Brazilian customers closer together by highlighting recent additions and improvements to the SACMI Customer Service Division range. More specifically, SACMI will be presenting the new SACMI “SPACE” (SACMI Portal for Aftersales and Customer service Excellence), an “integrated ecosystem” that includes advanced service packages (Daily Lifetime Support, Life Extension, Academy and Advanced Lifetime Support) designed to maximise the performance and value of an investment in SACMI technology over time.
