Sacmi at Cerafair 2017 - Iran

Sacmi will soon be taking part in the 24th edition of Cerafair, Iran's prime ceramic product and technology fair, to be held in Tehran (Iran International Exhibitions) from 30 June to 3 July 2017.

With over 120 ceramic manufacturing plants, Iran has an installed output capacity that makes it one of the world's top five markets. The country is now looking to play a pivotal regional role by focusing on products of ever-higher quality, exports, efficiency and lower consumption. Hence their need to show the market they have top-notch technological partners, first and foremost Sacmi, which has been working on the Iranian market for decades; what's more, since 2006 Sacmi Iran has been providing customers there with a full complement of sales, spare parts and after-sales assistance services.

Playing a starring role on the Sacmi stand (Hall 13) will be the latest technologies for pressing, continuous modular grinding, firing (with the latest EKO solutions, the best the market can offer in terms of energy performance) and packaging/sorting. Alongside the Sacmi stand there'll also be plenty of space set aside for the digital decorators manufactured by Intesa, the Group company that, thanks to a renewed machine range featuring Dimatix heads, is enjoying resounding success on all key international markets. Such solutions are in huge demand in Iran (a market ever-more eager to seize the opportunities that stem from true product innovation), explaining the Group's focus on Sacmi Digital solutions as an added-value complement to what is already an all-round range suitable for both new investments and the revamping/modernisation of existing plants.

Moreover, Sacmi staff will also be on hand to provide visitors with in-depth information on all the latest products for the sanitaryware and tableware industries (products already presented at Tecnargilla 2016, where they won huge market acclaim).

Thanks to an organised, long-standing in-country presence via Sacmi Iran (even during the difficult years of the embargo and international sanctions), the Group has established itself as a top-level partner. 'Top' not just on the technology front but also, and above all, in terms of service: this has been achieved through close teamwork with customers right from the design stage and the full support of an efficient spare parts and assistance service throughout the operational life of machine and plant.

The country's recently renewed political stability, combined with the loosening of international sanctions, lets producers look to the near future with confidence as they strive to meet a diversity of needs that span from modernisation of traditional tile format lines (giving, via digital technology, increased energy efficiency, process automation and manufacturing repeatability) to high-end manufacturing operations where there is renewed interest in Sacmi solutions for large tile and slab manufacturing. Sacmi, then, will be travelling to Cerafair with high expectations, aiming to provide local manufacturers with new product solutions that let them achieve their ambitious local and export market business goals
