SACMI Advanced Technologies is proud to support Tranter’s latest investment with the installation of a new SACMI PHL5000L press at the company’s manufacturing site in Vänersborg, Sweden.
Designed for the production of gasketed heat exchanger plates, the new 5,000-metric-ton press is equipped with advanced automation supplied by GAIOTTO, a SACMI Group company, including automated loading and unloading systems, and integrated material handling solutions.
A key feature of the new line is the integration of an automatic die change system, developed to significantly reduce changeover times and maximize machine availability.
The installation is part of Tranter’s broader expansion project in Vänersborg, which includes new manufacturing, service and office facilities. The investment strengthens the company’s production capabilities and supports growing demand for heat transfer solutions worldwide.
