This event is West Africa's biggest meet-up for those working in the packaging, plastics, printing and processing sectors. The 2026 edition brings together over 200 exhibitors and more than 4,000 industry professionals from over 35 countries.
Visitors to the SACMI stand (1B09, Hall 1) will have a valuable opportunity to meet our specialists and learn more about the latest PET closure and preform solutions, the lab services and the support provided by SACMI Nigeria.

High performance, low consumption

On the crucial African market, the SACMI offering focuses on compression-type closure production: a process that combines productivity, outstanding product quality, energy savings and streamlined management.
A global benchmark for flat-top cap production, the entire SACMI range has recently been upgraded in response to the main industry trends.
For example, thanks to its 80-mold configuration, the new CCM80SB delivers output rates of up to 4,000 caps per minute, equivalent to 1.8 billion caps per year. This solution boosts both productivity and plant availability while lowering consumption and streamlining control.
Integrated with the SFM slitting machine, the CCM80SB features latest-generation quality controls. Also, with a minimum cycle time of just 1.2 seconds, the machine is currently the best performer in the industry.
Moreover, SACMI provides the CCM80SB in combination with the IPS500, the new top-of-the-range preform production machine. Alongside high productivity, another key characteristic is integration with the new PVS Robot, which can inspect 100% of production, both in-line and offline.

Digital controls and proactive assistance

All SACMI closure/preform production machines and slitting lines can be equipped with the advanced SMARTPACK™ and SMARTCARE™ packages, developed to make process management simpler, more efficient and more proactive.
SMARTPACK™ incorporates hardware, software and advanced on-board control tools: this gives operators immediate access to process data and facilitates fast, targeted troubleshooting.
SMARTCARE™ analyzes data to monitor ‘machine health’ over time, identify any drifts and schedule work on the basis of objective information.
Digital control information flows into DEEP UNIT, the AI-powered workstation that gathers and enhances line data, providing operators with an overview of the plant and extending monitoring from individual machines to the entire production process.

Exclusive product development expertise with the Rigid Packaging Lab

Alongside production technologies, SACMI will be showcasing all the expertise of the SACMI Rigid Packaging Lab, which helps customers develop new products and define the solutions that best suit local market needs.
Services cover the development of lightweight, high-performance closures for the main international standards: these include 26/22 and 25/22 mm neck solutions, also available in tethered versions for water, carbonated drinks and hot-fill applications.
The Lab provides customers with close support throughout product development: from closure/neck design to functionality testing, plus verification of compliance with the specifications of major international brand owners.
The goal: to offer customized, sustainable solutions that ensure an optimal consumer experience.
