SACMI Packaging & Chocolate at Interpack 2026

SACMI Packaging & Chocolate at Interpack 2026

«Everything for Chocolate and Packaging for Everything. Now, more than ever»

At Interpack 2026 - to be held from 7 to 13 May in Düsseldorf, Germany, at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center - SACMI Packaging & Chocolate will be presenting its largest stand ever.
In Hall 4, on Stand E05/F05, the company will showcase an even broader, more integrated, more innovative technological range, partly thanks to the resources, skills and facilities made available by the recent addition of Groupe Emballage Technologies to the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate family.
The tagline “Everything for Chocolate and Packaging for Everything. Now, more than ever” thus summarizes a vision that is increasingly focused on a complete product range, process quality, advanced automation and end-to-end integration, from chocolate preparation and processing to primary and secondary packaging.

Chocolate Preparation: New ‘FlowFine’ ball mill

In the chocolate preparation segment, SACMI presents FlowFine, the new ball mill for the production of creams and compounds for medium output capacities.
FlowFine completes the SACMI range by bringing outstanding quality and a distinctive technical solution to this segment as well. The machine extends the SACMI approach to medium-scale production to ensure consistent product quality, reliability and process precision.
Furthermore, new patented systems have been developed for traditional refining and conching lines: these aim to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by optimizing efficiency, consumption and maintenance.

Molding: greater automation and flexibility with CORE X, new Fast Shell, and automatic mold changeovers

The molding line is the result of clear application requirements - operational flexibility, fast format changeovers and fewer manual tasks - and merges three technologically advanced modules, installed in-line:
  • an automated robotic mold changeover station, operating at nominal production speed.
  • CORE X, a chocolate pouring machine with automatic format changeovers that can be completed in under 7 minutes, servo-driven to ensure maximum placement accuracy and effective cleaning for contamination purposes.
  • Fast Shell, a cold shell molding module, with advanced shape control, less chocolate in circulation and a redesigned framework to improve precision and repeatability; it can be installed on single-line molding systems with low mold return.
The modules are integrated on a single line that has been designed for hygiene, excellent accessibility, easy cleaning and maximum worker safety.

OPM Packaging: integrated high-performance Advance line

OPM JTA+: the evolution of automatic flowpack
For horizontal packaging, SACMI Packaging & Chocolate presents the OPM JTA+, a development of the popular JT‑Advance. Thanks to the introduction of an automatic film splicing system with controlled reel stops, this solution enables greater precision, uninterrupted continuity of production, greater machine availability and efficiency, and fully automated reel changeovers. The outcome: tangible benefits in terms of ergonomics, process repeatability and fewer operational errors. JTA+ is designed to be incorporated into high-automation lines and digitalized plants, in keeping with smart factory requisites.

OPM Advance Line – Top Loading Cartoner
The OPM Advance Line – Top Loading Cartoner - specially designed for high productivity - will be on display at Interpack in an integrated three-function ‘Form-Load-Close’ configuration.
Thanks to Rockwell Automation I‑Track linear motors, this solution can achieve output rates of up to 160 boxes/minute, handling up to 1,000 incoming products (packages). Offering unmatched capacity and performance, the machine also features outstanding hygienic design, fully openable magazines and an ‘open’ architecture based on Rockwell electronics that can easily be integrated into company systems. Advanced data control allows continuous performance monitoring and calculation of operational efficiency.
In addition to the integrated solution with Rockwell architecture, the MULTI CARRIER LEXIUM™ MC12 demo station with Schneider linear motor systems will be on display to demonstrate the various technological options for smart product handling.

Wrapping: HTB and end-of-line solutions

HTB: chocolate tablets 2.0
For the wrapping sector, SACMI presents a 2.0 version of the HTB wrapping machine for chocolate tablets. The machine introduces the new ‘Letter’ wrapping style and has been redesigned to deliver better ergonomics, improved accessibility and a smaller footprint while maintaining market-leading performance. Thanks to the use of completely paper-based, recyclable wrapping materials, the solution also responds to growing sustainability demands. The inner material represents an alternative to the traditionally used aluminum.

MULTIBOX, PB20 and HY7, an integrated end-of-line set-up
Alongside HTB, SACMI will be showcasing an integrated end-of-line solution consisting of the HY7, MULTIBOX and PB20 to demonstrate continuity of the process downstream from the wrapping area.
In this configuration, the HY7 constitutes the heart of the set-up, working in concert with the SACMI vision system that executes automatic wrapping quality control. Again, the HY7 offers an improved footprint and better design features yet continues to maximize flexibility when switching between different wrapping styles. Upstream from the line, MULTIBOX forms RSC boxes, including self-locked ones, while the PB20 inserts the bags into the boxes.
This solution highlights a consistent, modular, highly automated approach to end-of-line packaging, one designed to reduce machine-machine interfacing, boost overall efficiency and streamline integration into complete, automated lines.

Primary and secondary packaging: a complete, high-quality solution for medium-speed production

Horizontal packaging: HPS 40 RT
HPS 40 RT is a new electronically controlled SACMI horizontal packaging machine. Its low-mounted reel and long‑dwell technology deliver reliability, user-friendliness and maximum application flexibility. Highly suitable for irregular or delicate products, it ensures gentle handling and high packaging quality.
Long‑dwell technology allows the use of a wide range of barrier films, ensuring safe hermetic seals. That same technology also streamlines integration of MAP systems, helping to extend product shelf‑life.
Optimized design and cutting-edge electronic control speed up format changeovers and reduce operating and maintenance costs. The HPS 40 RT is available with both manual and automatic feed.

Vertical packaging: VPS40C
Made entirely of stainless steel, the VPS40C is designed to speed up cleaning and maintenance tasks. With a throughput of up to 120 packages per minute, the VPS40C provides high performance, reliability, versatility and sustainability. It can handle a vast range of wrapping materials - compostable films, monolayers, barrier paper, polypropylene, and sustainable laminates - and covers various packaging styles to meet the needs of even the most demanding customers.

Secondary packaging: ETC CB20 by ETPACK
Last December’s takeover of Groupe Emballage Technologies has expanded the company's secondary packaging range, as the presence of the Etpack ETC CB20 at the fair clearly demonstrates: this 3‑in‑1 secondary packaging machine combines case erection, product loading with a Fast Picker robot, and automatic closure of RSC cases.
Designed to optimize use of space and performance, the machine manages the entire case packing process, all inside a single compact unit. The ETC CB20 can package flowpacks, pouches, doypacks, boxes, cartons, bottles and cans at speeds of up to 20 cases per minute.
