The Turkish company, leading exporter to Europe, invests once more in SACMI’s pressure casting technology. Already set up for future expansion to double productivity, this solution is a further step towards automation with advantages for the production process thanks to integration with an FPV pre-dryer.
ave on space and energy consumption with SACMI RobotCasting technology, leading solution in the global sanitaryware industry. This is the choice recently made by Creavit - part of the Çanakcilar Group – based in Turkey and leading brand-name in the manufacture of ceramic and bathroom solutions for the European market.
The recent supply includes 1 AVM pressure casting machine which doubles the capacity of the project developed in 2013. This SACMI RobotCasting solution is, in fact, the most widely sold system of its kind on the market due to its unique features of versatility and adaptability managing the casting process in synergy with the robot.
Dedicated to the production of WC bowls, the cell has been designed to house, in the future, a second AVM to make full use of the robot. For further process optimization, the new solution differs from the previous project due to use of the SACMI FPV pre-dryer which is being requested more and more often by customers installing SACMI RobotCasting.
Operating with forced air recirculation, the pre-dryer is fed by the same robot with the just cast pieces, thus significantly reducing hardening times and, at the same time, the overall space required, not to mention the substantial reduction in the use of supports.
Recently tested and started up, the new solution is a further confirmation of a well-established partnership between Creavit and the SACMI Group, both working towards increased automation to guarantee the best product quality, repeatability and process efficiency.
