Company places order with SACMI for the supply of a new grinding and spray drying plant at its Moncófar (Castellón) manufacturing site, strengthening the technological partnership between SACMI and STN
STN Group company Ceramica Tesany has placed an order with SACMI for the main machines in its new spray drying plant. Wholly dedicated to body preparation, this plant will be set up alongside the existing Tesany production facility, located in the municipality of Moncófar (Castellón).
The heart of this first stage of the investment consists of two modular MMC 180 continuous mills and an ATM 250 spray dryer; these join the numerous SACMI solutions (4 mills and 2 spray dryers) already in operation at Azulmed, another leading Spanish brand belonging to the STN Group.
This order sees Europe's second-largest floor and wall tile manufacturer renew its long-standing preference for SACMI grinding and spray drying technology. Indeed, with this four-stage investment, the Tesany plant is set to become one of the world's largest, most advanced body preparation plants.
SACMI, then, reasserts its role as main technology provider to the Castellón de la Plana ceramic district, the home of SACMI Iberica, the Group’s hub for all support and assistance provided throughout Spain.
