SACMI Deep Digital Line to be showcased at Batimat 2020

Key event to be held from 3rd to 6th March at the Moscow international trade fair facility. On show will be some truly stunning slabs, produced thanks to integration of the latest digital decoration and glazing systems on the SACMI Continua+ line

Global design. That's the slogan chosen for the coming edition of Batimat (3-6 March 2020), a key fair for the Russian market that showcases ceramic products and technology. Needless to say, the SACMI stand - with an exhibition area of over 80 m2 (stand 400, block 2, hall 8) - will play a leading role with a display of large decorated ceramic slabs made using the latest digital solutions integrated on the Continua+ line.

DDG (digital dry glazing) is one of the latest solutions by SACMI: designed to apply various materials (grains, flakes, etc.), it can, together with DHD inkjet solutions, give the slab unmatched aesthetic and depth effects. One of its key features is the selective grain application system: combined with the wet application of glue, this lets manufacturers design innovative products featuring the blended use of two dry materials. DDG also make it possible to apply two additional wet materials, useful for surface finishing purposes or further decoration with other ceramic effects: all perfectly coordinated with the other digital devices on the line.

Full integration between glazing and digital decoration processes constitutes real added value for the SACMI range which, with the Deep Digital Line, has innovated slab production and decoration as part of the drive towards 4.0 manufacturing. SACMI's flagship Continua+ solution for the manufacture of this type of slab is becoming ever-more popular in Russia. The country has installed two lines (one just recently), taking the number of such solutions sold to major ceramic players worldwide to more than 50. In addition to getting a close look at the superb slabs that can be made with Continua, visitors to Batimat will also have an opportunity to get see the Group's full range for the industry, which covers everything from raw material processing to warehouse management.
This international fair will also see the SACMI Sanitaryware & Tableware team out in force; they'll be presenting all the latest in terms of pressure casting and robotized glazing plus a new generation of Riedhammer sanitaryware kilns. A major success on the Russian market, the SACMI sanitaryware range is flanked by a comprehensive set of solutions for tableware, an industry in which SACMI Group company Sama Maschinenbau has played a pivotal role for decades.

SACMI's ability to provide customers with close support - from the design stage to after-sales assistance - is vital for success on the Russian market. With its highly qualified team, SACMI Moscow acts as an in-country assistance hub, ensuring customers always get the best from an investment in SACMI technology.
