A leading supplier of floor and wall tiles for over 40 years, with products appreciated worldwide for their technical and aesthetic quality, Polis Ceramiche has again renewed its trust in Sacmi by installing three new machines, two of which will be used on an all-new large-size porcelain tile production line.
The 'stars' of this latest order include a Sacmi PH7500 (over a hundred of which have been sold worldwide), a press that takes manufacturers into the smart production era by combining huge pressing forces, low consumption and outstanding product quality. Downstream, Polis Ceramiche has also installed a new ECP307 drier, equipped with inverters on the fans to reduce and optimise energy consumption.
Polis Ceramiche aims to use this complete line, which started up in March 2017, to manufacture tiles as large as 800x1600 mm. Lastly, the new Sacmi-supplied machines include a PH6500 press, which joins another one previously installed as part of a wider line revamping and modernisation plan.
With this investment decision, then, Polis – already a world-leading residential construction brand renowned for its outstanding product quality and service – has extended and diversified its high-end market penetration capacity. A choice, then, that allows the company to expand the product range while focusing on lower consumption and environmental sustainability.
