The Çanakcilar Group, a Turkish sanitaryware manufacturer using the Creavit brand name, has renewed its trust in the Sacmi Group's robotised glazing solutions.
The new, recently-installed Riedhammer tunnel kiln is now fed by two new Gaiotto systems - the fourth and fifth of the last five years - giving an overall daily output capacity of about 2,000 vitreous china and fine fire-clay pieces.
At the heart of these systems lies the GA 2000 robot, equipped with self-learning programming and integrated Mass Control.
Outstanding, consistent finished product quality has been made possible by spray delivery optimisation. Moreover, the glaze retrieval system uses a dry filtration technique that avoids wasting large amounts of water and eliminates the frequent maintenance work needed for water-glaze separation.
These latest projects with the Sacmi Group have allowed Creavit to increase annual output capacity to beyond 2.5 million pieces and focus on boosting exports to prestige foreign markets such as Europe.
