Sacmi finances the fight against leukaemia

Leukaemia can be fought in a variety of ways, even by organising an evening that blends the beauty of fine art with good food. This, in short, is the Sacmi-sponsored “Art and Solidarity” evening, to be held on 6th November in Imola with the aim of raising money for the charity Admo (the bone marrow donors association). The evening has been organised in collaboration with the Imola Health Authority and Town Council. Taking place in the town’s famed Molino Rosso restaurant, the event will include an exhibition of works by the painter Vittoriana Benini, who, in addition to displaying her works, will also be donating some of them to Admo to help fund-raising efforts. Fees paid by those attending the evening will finance the fight against leukaemia: all the money raised by “Art and Solidarity” will, in, fact, be donated to the Transfusion and Transplant Centre at the S. Orsola hospital in Bologna, and help finance research into leukaemia.
