SACMI Packaging-Beverage, all the latest at Fispal 2017

SACMI's participation at Fispal 2017 - the international food & beverage processing, packaging and logistics fair - takes place against a backdrop of changing beverage and ready-to-drink product consumption habits and strong market dynamism (despite the uncertain economic outlook). This thirty-sixth edition of the event will be held in São Paolo, Brazil from 27 to 30 June.

SACMI will be there with a 20 m2 stand where visitors can get a close look at the integrated range of beverage & packaging solutions. New products for 2017 take into account the Group's drive to develop new applications for compression technology – a field in which SACMI is world leader – such as the manufacture of coffee capsules. They also include still, CSD and dairy product packaging solutions that use cap-forming and aseptic form-fill-seal technology.

Cutting edge technology and service (SACMI has been on the Brazilian market for years via SACMI do Brasil, which employs a total of 47 technicians and sales executives) allow the Group to act as a sole provider covering every stage of the process. In this regard, then, aseptic and ultra-clean Bag In Box packaging solutions go hand in glove with innovative plant layout management systems; with SACMI CPB, in fact, the latter allow total integration between the cap and preform production process and the subsequent stretch-blow moulding, filling and secondary packaging operations.

SACMI is also a leading international pioneer in the supply of solutions that respond to the challenges and opportunities of Industry 4.0. The extensive machine range is flanked by a comprehensive set of quality control systems that include the vision systems developed by the Group's Automation & Inspection Systems Division, which perform all-round, ultra-fast quality control of cap, container and labels directly on the line.

“Over fifty years’ experience and know-how in the crown and metal caps sector, together with world-beating compression technology", observes Iacopo Bianconcini, SACMI's Closures & Containers Division marketing manager, "ensure we’re able to develop projects with top players in the industry, offering them modular, personalised solutions. It also lets us expand our business to adjoining sectors, from capsule manufacture to other pack types such as glass bottled beer”. All this, moreover, alongside modular labelling systems that provide unique versatility and efficiency.
