New TF22 dual-head tray former to be previewed in Berlin. Also on show, the tried and tested TF40 Imola, GD 25 and TF80, which deliver high performance and maximized application flexibility: a comprehensive response to a vast set of packaging needs from the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate TrayForming Division
Fruit Logistica - Europe’s biggest showcase of logistics and packaging solutions for the entire fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain - returns to Berlin (
BerlinExpo Center, 8-10 February 2023). A key appointment, then, for the
SACMI Packaging & Chocolate TrayForming Division, a leading market provider with a complete range of primary and secondary packaging solutions.
Visitors to our stand at Fruit Logistica (
Hall 4.1 Stand A40) can look forward to a preview of the
TF22 dual-head tray former. This new-concept, single-motor solution features mechanical synchronization of all movements and ensures maximum precision at speeds as high as
90 trays per minute per lane (180 in total, resulting in
10,800 trays/h).
The TF22 former allows for various types of output – continuous, single, stacked, etc. – and ensures fast, user-friendly size changeovers, no more than 30 minutes per head: an agile solution with a small footprint, perfect for handling small production batches. What’s more, an increase in the maximum dimensions of workable blanks means greater versatility when managing complex packaging geometries such as trays with lids on one side, half-lids and/or with handles.
Like everything else in the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate range, the design focuses on user-friendliness and ensures easy access to the machine for size changeover and routine maintenance purposes.
Alongside the new TF22, the SACMI stand at Fruit Logistica will showcase additional secondary packaging solutions developed by the TrayForming Division: a family of machines that offer market-leading high performance, specificity to match the exact type of package being made, plus next-gen automation and application flexibility so that manufacturers can respond effectively to a vast array of forming needs.
Taking center-stage will be the
TF40 Imola. Designed to make
plaforms and trays with reinforced corners, it features an output capacity of
up to 40 pieces per minute and maximizes flexibility thanks to the
adjustable mold that streamlines format changeovers. That same application flexibility is seen on the
TF12, the
corrugated cardboard plaform former here
combined with the new TS40 stacker, which is totally electromechanical with no pneumatically driven parts, resulting in reduced energy consumption.
By taking part in this edition of Fruit Logistica, SACMI Packaging & Chocolate aims to underline its excellence not just in technology but also as a provider of
close customer assistance, delivered via the far-reaching
SACMI Global Network, which has 80 production, distribution and service companies in 28 nations worldwide.
We look forward to seeing you at the fair!
