Strengthening our leadership here is therefore a priority and we aim to do so through R&D, by developing advanced technologies, cutting-edge quality control systems and, of course, comprehensive after-sales services”, stated the Managing Director of Sacmi Istanbul, Claudio Marani, on 27th March, on the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary; this landmark celebration was attended by the President of Sacmi Imola, Paul Mongardi and the Group’s General Manager, Pietro Cassani.
Founded in 1995, Sacmi Istanbul has been an essential provider of both spare parts and technical assistance to Turkey and the wider Euro-Asian area. More specifically, it has a major spare parts warehouse at Eskisehir, highly advantageous for customers as it allows them to optimise spare part delivery times and costs. Moreover, in addition to periodic machine maintenance and repairs, customers can also count on a training service run by local, specialised staff.
Headed by Claudio Marani, Sacmi Istanbul is a gem of Group excellence thanks to both the quantity and quality of skilled local managerial and technical personnel: they provide close customer support right from the initial design stage all the way to after-sales services. This ensures a huge strategic and competitive advantage that has allowed the Sacmi Group to expand and strengthen its leadership role in Turkey – the bridge between Europe and Asia and between the most dynamic economies in the BRICST area – a country that has, over the years, seen the establishment and evolution of some of the world’s biggest ceramic manufacturers.
