E-learning as an in-company training tool. But first and foremost, e-learning as an effective training method for customer companies’ technicians and, in general, to ensure proper after-sales assistance. Not to mention, of course, the fact that, thanks to digitalization of documents, the material is available not only 24-7 but can also be re-used again and again, with consequent cost savings.
Sacmi, the first Italian company to successfully activate e-learning services, has now placed its experience at the disposal of Ucima, the association that brings together Italian constructors – including Sacmi itself – of packaging and wrapping machines. The occasion to do so was a meeting organised by Ucima as part of a series titled “See you in the company”, aimed at reinforcing relations between associated companies and promoting a mutually rewarding exchange of ideas on themes of interest in the sector.
The event has been scheduled for Thursday, 3rd June at 10.30. Those invited – participation is open to all Ucima associates – will have the opportunity to visit production departments and the Sacmi Must museum, which illustrates decades of Sacmi technological excellence. In the afternoon Sacmi will present, together with Open Consulting, its approach to implementing the e-learning project, which, as stated, is an effective tool for both internal training and customer assistance.
“To know is to lead”: this, then, is the way Sacmi sees it. And it’s a slogan that is equally valid on-line, as the company responds, via the e-learning project, to a duel need felt by suppliers and customers alike. Based on a simple, user-friendly technological platform, Sacmi e-learning complies with the most advanced accessibility standards and is gaining ever-wider consensus on account of both the efficiency of the training courses and the cost reductions made possible by large-scale use of the same course material.
