A boost for Sacmi’s activities in Poland: on Thursday 26th October the new premises of this Group subsidiary, located in Tomaszów Mazowiecki in the centre of the country, will be inaugurated. Some of the biggest Polish customers will be there to witness the cutting of the tape. Representing Sacmi will be the Vice President Dino Zanoni, the General Manager, Eugenio Emiliani, and the General Manager of the Ceramics Division, Claudio Marani. The ceremony will begin at 1 pm with a welcome speech and will end with an Italian-Polish meal offered to all participants.
Founded in May 2002, Sacmi Polska initially supplied spare parts to the fast-expanding Polish ceramic industry. Rapid development of after-sales assistance soon followed and, even more recently, the company has diversified into other Group business areas such as packaging, extruded refractories, food & processing.
“The bulk of sales”, explains Giovanni Lancieri, Tile Sales Manager of Sacmi Imola and a member of the Sacmi Polska board of directors, “still come from spare parts. However, this new facility has been specifically designed to reinforce after-sales assistance, a fact”, notes Lancieri, who will be in Poland on the 26th, “particularly appreciated by our Polish customers”.
The seven employees cover management, sales, warehouse and administrative-financial roles. With 200 square metres of office space and another 600 for storage purposes, Sacmi Polska aims to provide its Polish customers with a truly comprehensive service. Moreover, Sacmi Polska has already internationalised its services into Belorussia and Lithuania.
