In 2003 it handled 6000 shipping procedures, 800 imports and 630 presses delivered all over the world: these, in short, are the achievements of Italiansped Milano (the Milan-based branch of the Sacmi Group’s international shipping company) in its first ten months of activity. Italiansped Milano was established last March on the premises of Negri Bossi, a company with almost half a century of experience in exporting presses and spare parts worldwide. This new Lombardy-based branch handles goods on both a national and international basis, by sea and land, and has independent offices at the Negri Bossi plants in Cologno Monzese.During 2002 Italiansped, which also operates through its foreign branches (Russia, Indonesia, Mexico and Spain), inaugurated new offices in Imola and set up a new shipping company in Genoa to expand the import-export business which passes through what is the most important port in Italy. In terms of sales, the company has grown enormously to reach a figure of € 30 Million, more than 50% of which is accounted for by business with companies outside the Sacmi Group (13% up on the previous year).
