Sacmi Forni opens its doors to celebrate 20 years of success

Sacmi Forni will be celebrating its first twenty years by opening its doors to the public. On 12th November the headquarters in Salvaterra di Casalgrande, near Reggio Emilia, will be open from 14.30 to 18.30, giving the public an opportunity to visit the new offices – to be inaugurated in the presence of the local authorities – and the production plant.
Sacmi Forni has been designing, developing and building kilns and automatic systems for the ceramic industry since 1985, and is one of the most advanced and innovative enterprises in the entire Reggio Emilia area, with which it has close ties. The 20th anniversary celebrations include guided tours and demonstrations of the machines by Sacmi Forni’s engineers. A short documentary will be shown in the auditorium to illustrate the company’s history, while informative panels and three-dimensional displays in the R&D lab will illustrate the many machines developed by Sacmi. Kids will be catered for as well: a touch-and-learn playroom will be at their disposal, allowing them to build objects with a range of different materials.
